"International volunteers"

For more than 60 years, young people have been Associated with the Mission of the religious of the Assumption: they are called the AMAs.

Being an AMA is....

  • Living with, serving and learning from people on the margins
  • In partnership with the Sisters of the Assumption in their mission of education
  • Stepping out of your own country for a period of 6 weeks to two years
  • Crossing cultural and language boundaries
  • Experiencing community with others in the richness of difference
  • And exploring your own spiritual journey
