Religious life is a gift from God and must be freely responded to. It is a seed planted by God and nurtured in the family. On 3rd January 2025, we celebrated the solemn commitment of Sr. Christine Marie Emmanuel Mutinda to God, the Church and the Congregation of the Religious of the Assumption. Present at this great event to witness her special moment in religious life, were; her mother, siblings priests, seminarians, religious sisters from different congregations, well-wishers and our worshipping community.
The joy of religious vocation comes from answering God’s invitation and living a life of holiness. It is a journey that draws people closer to God. The answer to this call of God is a daily decision. “Each one of us has a mission on earth” says our Foundress, St. Marie Eugenie of Jesus. To be what God wants us to be will always make us happy and fulfilled.
