UNINVITED GUEST PREVENTED INVITED GUESTS

We thank God for the gift of our standard seven pupils at our St. Marie Eugenie Primary school, twenty five boys and twenty seven girls. They have been with us for seven years and now they are completing their primary education.

On 13th August 2021 at St. Marie Eugenie Primary School located at Iguguno, Singida Region, was the day when the whole school, teachers, non-teaching staff and students of class one to six were wishing success to their elder sisters and brothers aa well as saying goodbye them.

We started the day by celebrating the Holy Mass (Eucharist) which was well prepared by the students with the assistance of Sr. Celine. It took place in the school open shade. After the Mass, then followed entertainments of traditional songs, poems and dances, rewards were given to students who had performed well in different subjects. Speeches came from the representative of the outgoing students, Parish Priest Fr. Severin and the Headmistress, Sr. Flaviana. Lastly the students and teachers shared a good meal together.

Unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic (Uninvited Guest) prevented the parents and other people from joining us for the celebration. Let us continue praying for this pandemic to end so life may be back to normal.

The standard seven students are due for their National Examination before the end of September. We all wish them every success through the intercession of St. Marie Eugenie, the school Patron.
