We give thanks to God, the Lord of all, who has allowed four of our young novices to make their temporary vows in the parish of Saint Hubert in Kinshasa.
After several years of formation in the aspirancy, the postulancy and the novitiate, they are now convinced that the Lord is calling them to serve Him in consecrated life. Their experience of community life has been a source of joy. The novitiate helped them lay solid foundations in their relationship with God and strengthen fraternal relationships. The Eucharist, adoration, and the Liturgy of the Hours have deeply nourished them spiritually.
In the light of the experiences they have lived and the graces they have received, they too can say, like Mary: “Let it be done to me according to your word” (Lk 1:38). Despite their weaknesses and limitations, they rely only on His grace.
Several congregations came to share our joy, as well as the entire Assumption family represented: the Oblates of the Assumption, the Orantes of the Assumption, the Little Sisters of the Assumption, and the Augustinians of the Assumption.
