"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" – Romans 8:35 "Love never says, ‘it’s enough.’" – Saint Marie Eugenie of Jesus

These themes encapsulated the vocational journey of our sisters: Victorine, Lucie, Francine, Antoinette, Albertinah, Lucienne, and Emerentienne. God’s Word and the profound words of Saint Marie Eugenie brought even greater depth to this unforgettable day in their lives devoted to God.

The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Archbishop Fulgence Rabemahafaly, took place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Ambohimahasoa.

During their testimonies, our Jubilarians – Sr. Victorine (50 years), Sr. Lucie, and Sr. Francine (25 years) – together with the sisters who made their perpetual vows – Sr. Albertinah, Sr. Antoinette Rasoamalala, Sr. Lucienne, and Sr. Emerentienne Rahatamalala – reflected on how God’s love has guided them, from their families to this blessed day.

  • Sr. Victorine shared the grace of God’s faithfulness and the patience needed to overcome life’s challenges.
  • Sr. Lucie reminded us that the love we put into our service draws us closer to God and to others, helping us persevere in our religious vocation.
  • Sr. Francine spoke about how God provides the means to answer His call, even when families resist our life choices.
  • Srs. Lucienne, Albertinah, Antoinette, and Emerentienne demonstrated their love and fidelity to Christ, reflecting their deep and enduring commitment.

The celebration brought together the sisters’ families from the day before, along with various priests and religious. During the fraternal meal, we shared our joy as a Church and as a family, enriched by music, dances, and heartfelt speeches, making this moment of grace and unity even more meaningful.
