This Saturday, October 15, the Province of Rwanda Chad had the joy of living the celebration of the perpetual vows of 6 sisters: Marie Devota, Marie Claire, Josiane Emmanuel, Rita Marie Eugénie, Laetitia Marie, Marie Agathe and the jubilee of 25 years of religious consecration of three sisters namely Sister Marie Odette, Sister Marie Josée and Sister Claire Josée. We had the grace to live this event with Sister Rekha, our superior general, and her council. Thus we felt more than usual, in communion with the whole congregation and supported in this great event for our province and for the congregation. Bishop Anaclet who presided over this great celebration took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the congregation for what it is for the Church in Rwanda while encouraging our professed sisters to remain firm in their commitments. As for Sister Rekha, she spoke of the beautiful discoveries she had made about the Church in Rwanda and brought us all back to the profound meaning of our consecration, exhorting us to incarnate the Assumption charism in our present day and in the context in which we are. We continue to give thanks to God for these blessings
