Ecological outing of the Sainte Marie Eugénie school in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso)

E eventWednesday, 03 July 2024

On December 6, the pupils of the Collège Sainte Marie Eugénie in Ouagadougou took part in an ecological trip to Yelemani in the village of Lombila, 10 km from the city of Ouagadougou. Three teachers, the Sister Director Sr Marie Claire, Mr Soulama yves and the President of the Parents' Association of the school were present. It was a beautiful day of discovery and relaxation. We would like to thank them for their partnership in the training of young people in ecology, care for the environment and the use of organic products.

Indeed, the Yelemani Association has initiated school gardens in five schools in Ouagadougou, including the Sainte Marie Eugénie college. It takes care of 50 pupils per school to train them in the field of agroecology. Our students are very happy with this ecological training outing.
