The Congregation's communication team meets the communication contacts of every province
Last Saturday the 12th, we held an online meeting of the Congregation's communication team with the communication contacts of each province. A time of work, but above all of closeness: rarely is it so clear that communication, before being a responsibility, is a way of weaving bonds.
A grateful handover
During the meeting we experienced a especially heartfelt moment: Mercedes Méndez bid farewell to the whole team after years of generous dedication, handing over to Ingrid, who will take on responsibility for communication in the coming years. Sister Rekha was also present and wished to thank Mercedes for her dedication with warm and inspiring words. A handover that is not merely a change of people, but the continuity of one same service and of one same mission.
Looking ahead together
At the gathering we worked on the communication report that the team presented at the last CGP, sharing what we have lived and learned in order to keep moving forward. It was a joy to have the presence of 100% of the provinces: to see one another, to recognise one another and to feel part of one same mission.
For that, in the end, is what it is all about: communicating out of communion. When we feel like family, communication becomes more human, more close, and also more effective.
