We are very happy to share with you our joy for the celebration of the first vows of six of our Sisters and the Silver Jubilee of Sister Marie Jeanne Tiaray which took place on August 13, 2022 at the Chapel of Saint Augustin in Manovohasina Fianarantsoa.
This celebration began with a prayer vigil during which the Sisters shared their personal and vocation stories with us. Each testimony was interspersed with songs prepared by the young aspirants, the Assumptionist Brothers, the Novices and the Young Sisters.
The respective families of each one was already there to support them and to witness to their vows to Christ in the Congregation of the Religious of the Assumption. The Eucharistic celebration of August 13, 2022 began at 9 am. The Mass was presided over by Father Martin, Assumptionist, with 9 other priests concelebrating. This celebration was followed by a fraternal meal with all the guests and their families. It was also a time to share the talents and joy of having welcomed new Sisters and the fidelity to God of our Sister Marie Jeanne Tiaray.
All this was done thanks to the mutual help that existed among the Assumption family.
We can say that this celebration has strengthened the communion and the synodal spirit between the different Congregations as well as among ourselves.
