Drawings of the life of Saint Maria Eugenia to color

Once upon a time, in a country called France, there was a little girl named Anne Eugenie. She was born into a wealthy family, the Milleret de Brou family, and lived in a big house surrounded by forests, where she played with her brother Louis. She loved running among the trees, reading books, and asking questions about the world.

From a very young age, Anne Eugenie learned that life could change quickly. Two of her brothers passed away, and she was ill for a long time. Her family did not talk much about God, but they were kind. Her mother taught her to be good, generous, and sincere.

One very special day, Anne Eugenie made her First Communion. At first, she thought it was just a celebration. But at the moment of receiving the Eucharistic bread, she felt something deep in her heart. It was as if Jesus was whispering to her: "I am here, with you." That moment was forever engraved in her soul.

But Anne Eugenie’s life took a dramatic turn. Her family lost all their fortune and had to sell their house. Then, her parents separated, and her mother fell seriously ill. In a short time, Anne Eugenie found herself alone in the world. She felt sad and lost, as if she were adrift in a stormy sea.

However, one day during Lent, she entered the great cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris. There was a large crowd listening to a priest named Lacordaire. He spoke passionately about how God’s love and truth could make the world a better place. Anne Eugenie felt as though those words were meant for her. It was like a light turning on in her heart. At that moment, she understood that she wanted to dedicate her life to something great: helping others and making God’s love known throughout the world.

Soon after, she met a priest named Combalot, who told her that the best way to change the world was through education. Anne Eugenie was thrilled! She dreamed of teaching children not only math and reading but also how to be good, just, and generous, following Jesus' example.

So, at just 22 years old, she became Mother Marie Eugenie, as she founded a community of sisters called the Religious of the Assumption. Together, they opened schools where they taught with love. They did not want to simply pass on knowledge but to help each person discover the dream that God had for them.

The years passed, and the small community grew. Mother Marie Eugenie and her sisters traveled to many countries, bringing an education based on love and faith in the truth that leads to true joy. Her dream of a more just and fraternal world slowly became a reality.

Today, many children around the world continue to learn thanks to her work. And even though Mother Marie Eugenie is no longer here, her heart keeps beating in every school, in every smile, in every child who discovers God’s love in their life.

Mother Marie Eugenie teaches us that with faith and courage, we can change the world!

The End.
