What a beautiful spring tradition our annual Block Party has become! This weekend, our little corner of the world came alive with laughter, conversation, music, and the delicious smell of shared food. Families, friends, and neighbors—new and old—came together to celebrate the vibrant, diverse, and intergenerational community we’ve built.
Children played joyfully, the older folks lounged comfortably in chairs, and many of us floated from group to group, discovering shared stories, common interests, and lots of smiles. From dancing and singing to impromptu games with the kids (shout-out to Mark the handyman’s granddaughter for bringing such energy!), the day was full of warmth and connection.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing organizing committee who went door-to-door inviting everyone. You helped create something truly special.
We, the religious Sisters in the neighborhood, are so blessed to be part of this vibrant tapestry of lives. We love the friendships we’ve formed and the shared spirit that fills our block.
